As we only had one double lesson to edit our preliminary
task we had to begin immediately. We used Adobe Premier Pro to cut our film.
Using this software was relatively easy since I have a lot of experience with
Adobe After-Effects and the interface and layout are similar. We did manage to completely
edit our film but we came across a problem in the way of lighting. We noticed
that the lighting was a touch too dark so we balanced the levels and eventually
we got the brightness just how we wanted it. Apart from the lighting issue, the
editing went smoothly and we are genuinely pleased with the final result of our
preliminary task. I have learnt many useful things throughout the editing process, one of which is how to add effective titles over the footage. I am surprised at how simple it was and I will certainly never forget so I can use the same technique in any future endeavours I may embark upon.

Me editing our clips using Adobe Premier Pro |
Today's lesson had enabled me to advance my skills using Premier Pro and has taught me how infuriating yet rewarding video editing can be.
